Where to Eat & Drink
-
COCOA Coffee House: Great spot for casual breakfast or lunch sandwiches, smoothies, snacks & coffee. They have an app that lets you order ahead for pickup which you should definitely download and use to avoid long waits! $$
The Landing: Their breakfast ricotta hotcakes with honeycomb butter might be the single best food item on the island. Not to be missed. Also a great spot for dinner! $$$
Queen Conch: Delicious local seafood, with a deck hanging over the water. Suggestions include the conch salad, blackened mahi-mahi-mahi wrap, and for dinner the tropical shrimp. Also a great spot for a quick evening take-out. $$
Dunmore Deli: Tasty spot for grab and go sandwiches. Also next to the liquor store in case you need to stock up on supplies for the beach. $$
Miss V’s: Little hut on the beach next to Ocean View Club. Visit for the best passion fruit sangrias and beach snack. $$
Arthur’s Baker: Good spot for breakfast and donuts. $$
The Sweet Spot: Great offering of vegetarian and vegan healthy juices (and other healthy snacks). Across from Queen Conch. $$
Pink Sands: Beach side sit-down lunch. $$$
Coral Sands: Also a great beach-side lunch spot. $$$

If you want to eat at any of these spots while you’re here, you 100% will want to reserve ahead of time as it will be peak season!
Aquapazza: Tasty Italian food and drinks located at the Ramora Bay Resort. Great sunset views if you time it right. The Penne alla Vodka is a favorite. Best dinner value for money on the Island. $$$
The Dunmore: Stylish spot with great food. Open for lunch and dinner. Good spot to dress up a bit and people watch. Also a fantastic place to get lunch on the deck, perched over the ocean! $$$$
Rock House: An iconic spot on the island that recently reopened after renovations. Great place for a cocktail and dinner and convenient for the hotels on the Bayside. $$$$
Da Vine: You might not think of a wine shop in the Bahamas as being a spot for sushi, but with the quality of the local produce and the sushi chefs here, it’s a delicious combination. Another of our favorites- Emilie also loves the lychee martini. $$$
Runaway Hill Club: Low key but tasty spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Family run and operated. $$$

Elbow Room: Not much elbow room in this quaint dock-side bar. But great drinks, very centrally located, and a perfect spot to grab a happy hour drink before you explore town!
Valentines: fun bar at the Valentines Resort & Marina. Good spot for sunsets, boat watching, and to see the day’s fishing haul come in.
Ramora Bay: Maybe the best location for sunsets. Plenty of deck space to grab a snack and cocktail. You can then walk a few steps up the hill for dinner at Aquapazza.
